The New Motor

For those of you with an interest in such things, I've already shown a couple of shots of the interior of my new toy and here is another, this time showing part of the exterior.

I'll post a few details from the car and see if anyone can name the make and model before I finally post the whole thing.

I regret I cannot offer the car as a prize for the first correct answer; it's a business tool and I need it to lug around all my kit, but I'd be very happy to say "well done" or something similar. With such a prize, what are you waiting for. Start building a picture in your mind and see what you come up with.

I would think it is a Honda, but then again what i really think is "What an amazing beautiful detail shot. very nice shot!!

chunter: Thanks Patrick, but not a Honda I'm afraid. Having set the challenge, however, it's largely irrelevant as most cars these days look like they came from the same jelly mould and all do the job they were designed for pretty well.

It's a Ford Mondeo. I haven't driven the new one but the original one was a great car. I had 3 as company cars and racked up a lot of miles in them. This one is said to be a lot better so it must be a superb car. Excellent picture Colin

chunter: Ah, Mondeos - I remember them. Before my Honda CRV and the later two Ford Focuses (Foci?), I had a succession of three of them: a MkI and two MkIIs. What I liked about them was the level of engineering you got for your money.

Is it a Ford Mondeo, I have no idea, I like the reflection in the car though, love the angle, I almost missed this one...it was over the weekend, I know I should be in bed.....one more comment and I am off

chunter: OK,I give in. Yes, it IS a Ford Mondeo. I wasn't quite ready to change my Focus, but this new car came up at £6,000 less than new price and I need the space to carry all my portable studio kit, so I couldn't afford to miss the opportunity. I'll try to post a complete image of it as soon as my drive is finished and I can wash he car.
