Looks cool

Suby
chunter: Hey Suby, how's it going, mixing it up with the professionals? Thanks for coming by as always.
good symmetry
I like the contrasts. Well spotted!
chunter: Slight dodging and burning to accentuate the contrasting light patterns on this one, but only subtle brushing here and there. It's more or less as it was.

The railing in the foreground actually works very well with this pic, Colin. Spot on!
chunter: Thanks Ginnie. There was no way to exclude it, so I'mglad it works.
This light is to die for! Love this.
chunter: Yes., it's the light that first caught my eye, then I saw the detail.

Patterns and counter patterns. And a shiny floor. I think you composed it well with the black railings framing the top and bottom.
chunter: Thanks Louis; I was restricted with the composition so not all dsown to me, I'm afraid - more to circumstances, but glad it worked.

2 seconds = tripod! Darn it, that's me out of it then!

It's a somehow ethereal, other-world light here, lovely composition too. smile
chunter: And a relatively low ISO setting for an indoor shot too. Once the light had caught my attention I then saw the intricate detail and I wanted to make it as sharp as possible.

Tripod - get one. Doesn't have to be particularly heavy and robust, especially if you also have a cable release. A lightweight one will do the job. Then you can play with all the seconds you like!

Beautiful picture, I agree with Ellie, quite ethernal. I love it!
chunter: I also agree. It seemed quite right for the subject matter. Thanks Monika.
Very, very pretty Colin.
chunter: Thanks deji and apologies for the late response. Been to USA for a couple of weeks. Watch this space for some work from there.
