photoblog image Immature Wine

Immature Wine

This may not be as creative as I'm sure some of the others will be, but I wanted to support the theme idea from the outset, so this is one from the archives.

I usually like my wine - red and white - a little more mature than this, but I'll take it any way I can.

Lovely Colin, you know what I love best is the way your watermark looks part of the picture, was this intentional?

I've got a luverly bunch of ... grapes. Nice lighting and composition. I did a double-take on that sign too! Funny, I could have sworn I saw a shot of Stourhead(?) earlier...
chunter: Dead right Steve, Stourhead was there from midnight or whatever time the queued updates are posted. I'd queued it earlier in the week without considering the theme for today. I changed it hastily when I got into work this morning.

Didn't know you ran a fruit and veg stall...multi-talented!

Just a little tighter crop required as the stuff top right is distracting.

p.s. you should tag your image 'Theme1' so you come up under the search for theme entries. smile
chunter: Absolutely right - completely forgot the tag. Added now, thanks.

I really wanted to crop this to eliminate not only the top right, but also the price cards. Then that didn't leave me the card to put my monika on and there was precious little fruit left. A tighter crop at picture taking time would have been ideal, but as a grab shot from a busy market place, I didn't have the luxury of hogging a piece of ground for very long without getting in the way of some serious shoppers. Excuses, excuses!

Looks like the sign says colin is a mushroom lol. Just kidding. Send me some grapes!
chunter: You know what they say at work: "Mushroom syndrome: Keep the employees in the dark and cover them in .." ..shame on my cynicism.

Love your tag to the image. The shot itself is cool. I do not like the carrots & potatoes in the shot though

Thought it was purple and green broccoli in the thumbnail! All looks like good organic stuff - cool.
Finishing touch seems to be professional.
