Final Frontier?
I can't remember how this shot came about. It could be Mercury, the last stop before the sun as we travelled there one weekend a couple of years back. We had to travel at night, otherwise the sun would have burned us up.

Or it could be a reworking of a glass paperweight on a window sill that I originally posted on 10 March 2008, ( http://chunter.shutterchance.com/photoblog/Out_of_This_World_/ ) to which I applied a few filters. Not my usual style of work, I know, but I was having Photoshop withdrawals and decided to tinker a bit.
